Steamboat Food & Wine packages are designed to give guests a seamless way to experience the festival’s signature events. By bundling select tastings, seminars, and dinners into thoughtfully curated itineraries, these packages offer the most immersive way to enjoy the weekend while securing access to some of the festival’s most sought-after experiences.
1.Choose Your Pairing Package
Choose the perfect Thursday night kickoff with a package that includes the Sunset Soiree Welcome Reception plus your choice of one of two dinner experiences. Start the evening with a gondola ride to Thunderhead Lodge for oysters, caviar, Champagne, live music, and sweeping sunset views at the Welcome Reception.
Then continue the night at Hazie’s for the Alpenglow Dinner, a five-course collaboration featuring Steamboat local chef Joe Campbell, Bravo Top Chef Season 22 semi-finalist Lana Lagomarsini, and one of Steamboat Resort’s own culinary talents, paired with thoughtfully selected wines and panoramic mountain views. Or ride the gondola back down to Gravity Haus for the Local Harvest Dinner, a Colorado-driven celebration of seasonal ingredients, local producers, and Carboy wines.

As the Sunset Soiree settles into evening upstairs at Thunderhead Lodge, the night continues at Hazie’s with a one-night collaboration between chefs Matt Vawter, Kevin Nashan, Paul C. Reilly, William Dissen, and Lee Wolen. Across seven courses, each chef brings a distinct perspective to the table, creating a dinner that feels both deeply personal and genuinely collaborative. Paired with wines from Arietta and framed by sweeping mountain views, the evening carries the kind of energy that only happens when talented people are truly excited to cook together.

Hosted at Gravity Haus’ White Rabbit Tavern, the Local Harvest Dinner celebrates the ingredients, growers, and culinary community that shape the Yampa Valley. Chef Jason Brumm is joined by 2025 MICHELIN Guide Colorado Young Chef Award winner Aiden Tibbetts for a collaborative menu rooted in local sourcing and seasonal cooking, with support from the Community Agriculture Alliance. Paired with wines from Carboy Winery, the evening brings together field, kitchen, and glass in a way that feels distinctly Colorado.

Where does the festival take place?

What time does the festival start?
SFWF is a four day festival with events all around town and throughout the day. Please check the event schedule for exact times and locations.
What talent will be attending the festival this year?
Can I bring the whole family?
This event is for those 21 and older. However, the Grand Tasting has an open perimeter and children may access The Land Up Activities. Steamboat’s own Kid’s Garden is also open so that parents can enjoy their time while your children enjoy theirs. These experienced childcare providers are perfect for children ages 12 months to 12 years.
Do I have to pay for food and drink during the festival?
No. All food and drink is covered by the price of your ticket.
Is there transportation?
Yes, the festival will be offering shuttles to and from the various events. Refer to your specific event(s) for shuttle details.

Who does the festival support?
MainStreet Steamboat Springs – MainStreet was founded in 2004 to preserve, promote, and enhance Downtown Steamboat Springs.

• Culinary Program – Each summer the culinary program sends students to Italy for an immersive culinary experience and we’re excited to support the next generation of chefs by supporting their endowment.
When will will call be and when does it open?
Will call locations, pickup instructions, and operating hours will be shared with guests closer to festival weekend. Wristbands and tickets will be available for pickup throughout the event weekend.
Do you offer refunds?
In the unlikely event that the Steamboat Food & Wine Festival must be canceled, we will refund your ticket purchase, less credit card processing fees, or you will have the option to move your ticket to the following year’s event. Cancellation of the event will be communicated to all patrons as soon as possible, and additional instructions will be provided should the situation arise.
If the event proceeds as planned and you decide it is not within your best interest to attend, please contact event staff at least 30 days prior to the start of the festival. Tickets may be deferred to the following year or refunded, less a 15% administration fee.
Refund requests made within 30 days of the start of the festival are non-refundable, but tickets may be transferred to the following year at no charge.

How do I receive my event ticket or wristband?
All event wristbands will be available for pick-up at will-call throughout festival weekend. Your ticket can either be printed off or scanned on your phone at the event.
Additional pick-up times and details will be available closer to the event and communicated to all guests via email.
Can I upgrade my ticket purchase?
Yes. If you would like to upgrade or make changes to your event tickets, please get in touch and our team will be happy to assist.
