TICKET REFUNDS AND PURCHASING POLICIES
Please note that SFWF is taking COVID-19 very seriously, and is making decisions and taking action based on what is best for our patrons. SFWF is closely following guidelines from CDC, International Festivals and Events Association, the State and our local health department to ensure we are operating in a safe environment for our vendors, our patrons and our teams and so all parties have a wonderful and safe experience at this year’s festival.

Steamboat Food and Wine Festival will be enjoying delicious food and wine, rain or shine.

REFUNDS
In the unlikely event that the Steamboat Food and Wine Festival must be canceled, we will refund your ticket purchase, less credit card processing fees, or you will have the option to move your ticket to next year’s event. Cancellation of the event will be communicated to all patrons as soon as possible and additional instructions will be given should the situation arise.

Refunds will not be given unless the event is canceled. If you feel it is in your best interest not to attend the 2021 Steamboat Food and Wine Festival, you may defer your ticket purchases to 2022. All requests to move your tickets to 2022 must be submitted no later than September 1st, 2021. No exceptions.

COVID AGREEMENT
The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely dangerous and is believed to be spread from person-to-person contact. As a result, federal, state and local governments and federal and state health agencies recommend social distancing and have, in many locations, prohibited the congregation of groups of people. The State of Colorado and local governments have determined that under limited circumstances, using strictly followed health guidelines, certain businesses may re-open operations at this time. This is not to be seen as any medical or health care determination that COVID-19 is no longer a threat to the lives and health of the citizens of Colorado.

The Steamboat Food and Wine Festival (SFWF) has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, SFWF cannot guarantee that you will not become infected with COVID-19. Further, your physical presence at SFWF could increase your risk of contracting COVID-19.

By agreeing to this statement, I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that I may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by attending SFWF and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability or death. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at SFWF may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including but not limited to, SFWF employees, volunteers, and their family members.

I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability or death), illness, damage, monetary loss, claim, liability, or expense of any kind, that I may experience or incur in connection with my participation at the SFWF or SWFW activities (“Claims”). On my behalf, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge and hold harmless the SFWF, its employees, agents and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of the SFWF its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during or after attendance at the SFWF activities.

I agree to protect, defend, indemnify and hold harmless SFWF (as well as its volunteers, contractors, officers, directors, employees, representatives, attorneys, and insurers) regarding any of the Claims, and shall be liable to pay attorneys’ fees and costs incurred by the SFWF or any of the foregoing persons mentioned in this paragraph in the event that I or any person on my behalf bring a Claim that has been otherwise waived by this agreement.
